  • @SaraSkiff Who knew Segways could also maybe count as a workout! I like them more already. So cool that you guys toured on them. :) #
  • Alex just called: "I dropped my laptop in the bathroom. Still works but makes a weird noise." Must find a "safer" way to stream Sirius. #
  • Solved the problem of iPhone static in my coworker’s headsets. Aluminum foil lined notecard box. Cute & it works! http://snipurl.com/28pbj #
  • @SaraSkiff yep! You don’t even need the box – just putting it on the aluminum foil works, but the box makes it cute. ;) #

Hopefully it all balances out in the end…

I ate like a huge disgusting hoggy pig tonight. I mean, I consumed an unspeakable amount of calories. Think about the worst things you can buy yourself at the grocery store and then think about eating the whole package. OMG.

I sort of wish I was bulimic so at least I could purge after I binge. But alas, I’m not mentally damaged. ;)

SO… After feeling so terrible that I ate all that I did, I finally motivated myself into doing a Pilates video. I picked up Quick Start Pilates for Weight Loss at Target last night, but then was too lazy when I got home from my excursion to do it. Even though it was already after 10pm tonight when I realized that I am the most disgusting person on the planet, I still cleared a spot in the living room and did my DVD.

I’ve had Yoga DVD’s before the fire that I found hard to follow along with, but this DVD was actually pretty easy to follow. The moves were challenging but the voice over was very helpful so I didn’t feel like I had to strain to try and watch the TV while trying to perform the moves at the same time. I can tell that I’m going to be very sore tomorrow, but I’m excited to finally feel a “on my way to not being a fatty” soreness again. Pilates is all about your core strength and you need to focus on “scooping your belly” to ensure that you’re engaging the proper muscles and not hurting your back. I’m hyper-sensitive about not causing any more pain to my back and so I think I was pretty good about keeping my abs engaged. In fact, just sitting here on my bench typing I’m noticing that I’m already sitting up straighter and engaging my abs. I’m pretty excited about that! I’ve always admired Beck’s posture (I know – it’s kind of a weird thing to admire about someone) and she does Pilates so I think I may have discovered her secret. ;)

So the night started off with me being very, very, very bad but ended up on a good-health note… So I’m hoping that it all balances out in the end. ;)
